Our vehicle for achieving this is the powrtalk program, which we developed and continually update, to offer our clients the best possible formula for effective, fast training in presentation skills.

We do not engage in English language training, nor treat presentation as an extension of language training.

We are dedicated to training in presentation as a distinct and specialized business tool.

Empowr Company Limited is a New Zealand company, established in 1994. Empower Co. came to Japan on a private consulting contract in 2000. We were asked to train or consult on several large presentation projects, and soon recognized the need in Japan for a comprehensive training program for foreign-language presentation skills.

Empowr Co. launched the first version of powrtalk, an eight-day intensive course, at NTT DoCoMo, Inc. in Tokyo. It was an instant success, turning shy, submissive, disorganized speakers into persuasive presenters in a few days, and generating enthusiastic response and repeat business. We have developed from this single course a menu of several different products for 2005, from basic training courses to executive coaching and consulting.

Empower Co. offers powrtalk training in Japan in partnership with Weber Shandwick Worldwide. We also offer powrtalk in New Zealand.
