Healthy Natural Remedies

The Succulent and Incredible Mangosteen My intent here is not to fully enlighten you regarding all aspects of the heaven sent mangosteen fruii.  I couldn’t even if I wanted to because Mangosteen is still a master work in progress.  We don’t even know yet how amazing this super fruit is.I will say that being as juicy as it is, the purple mangosteen loaded with ormus water and that is super great for both your health and your longevity. See Ormus Water Blog  Plant a Mangosteen Tree Well, growing your own might not be the most practical avenue for you, even if it would certainly be the optimum.  Still, I do suggest you incorporate the fabulous health effects of the Garcinia Mangostana fruit into your life right now.  I do have to say though that if you buy mangosteen plants for your garden, you’d be getting the very best that mother nature can offer – and the benefits of uncontaminated mangosteen too.  Don’t look to corporations for the best quality mangosteen juice because you won’t find the best quality mangosteen juice there. But let’s get realistic here and I’m not suggesting boiled mangosteen benefits either.  What if you buy mangosteen extract?  In fact, if you over-process juice and turn it into just a sugar bomb like almost every corporation will do, you will eliminate most of the beneficial nutrients that you were hoping to get from the Mangosteen concentrate in the first place. Isn’t that just what a corporation would do.  They sell over-processed foods that are so nutrient deficient that you need to buy supplements, then they flog over-processed supplements so you can’t get any actual nurishment from those either – and you you still go on buying from Walmart or Kroger or whichever corporate ogre store. Here is a good alternative - Find Mangosteen Juice Online African

Cocktail and Shooter Recipes

Home Made Irish Cream Liqueur Honestly, this is far and away better than any commercial Irish Cream liqueurs and it is far cheaper too. You can store it for several weeks in your fridge.  Serve over ice or pour a healthy dollup into your black coffee. Irish Cream was my gateway liquor, and I drank entirely too much of it as a teen. You’d think that gorging on mudslides in a hotel room at my senior prom after-party and subsequently getting my drunk self dissed by my straight-laced sophomore date (who had braces and was named Spencer) would have put me off the stuff, but no such luck. My love for Baileys was only strengthened a month later by a British bartender who introduced me to the Slippery Nipple. (that is, the Baileys and vodka cocktail). Most recipes called for sweetened condensed milk, Hershey’s chocolate syrup, instant coffee, and almond and vanilla extracts. With those sketchy ingredients, I wondered, why not just buy the ready-made stuff?

Longevity tips

Longevity and Aging   Longevity is a term that generally refers to 'long life' or 'great duration of life'. The word 'longevity' is sometimes used as a synonym for 'life expectancy' in demography. Various factors contribute to an individual's longevity. Even among those who do not wish for eternal life, longevity may be desired to experience more of life, or to provide a greater contribution to humanity. You can help to make longevity medicine and longer, healthier lives a reality.   Aging There are many organizations dedicated to exploring the causes behind aging, ways to prevent aging, and ways to reverse aging. Many believe that aging is not a disease but an inescapable aspect of life, programmed into our bodies. The field of longevity and anti-aging is full of promises and unsubstantiated claims. Though, I believe you can help to make therapies for aging and life extension medicine a reality. Recent genetic discoveries have found that aging and death may not be inevitable.

Ultra-Low Calorie Foods - LP

Include Onions In Your Diet Flavorful, aromatic, inexpensive and low in calories, onions deserve a regular place in your diet. One cup of chopped raw onions has only 60 calories, and one raw medium onion (2.15” diameter) has just 42. Onions control cholesterol, thin ourt your blood, protect against cholesterol and may have some value in counteracting allergic reactions. Most of all, onions taste good and they’re good for you. Partially boil, peel and bake, basting with olive oil and lemon juice. Or sauté them in white wine and basil, then spread over pizza. Or roast them in sherry and serve over paste. French onion soup is one of my favorite meals; there's something about the gooey cheese hanging out of the spoonfuls of rich onion broth, just oozing with delicious winter comfort. Fortunately, onion soup is one of the easiest little dishes to prepare. And you don't need very many things at all. Onion soup grew out of the constraints of poor people making do with what they had, and yet its simple preparation rewards with rich taste far beyond the sum of its parts. All you really need is an onion, some butter and broth, some wine if you have it - or water if you don't - and salt and pepper. Sure, it can be fancied up a little more, but those are the basics.

Loki’s Trojan – Fiction

Loki's Trojan    Chapter 1 - A Dragon’s Maw Is a body, or perhaps a soul aware, when a trauma is destined to occur? Some philosophies surmise it may be. Folk have reported feeling pain in a portion of the anatomy that will later be lost or damaged. The Buddha is purported to have known the instant of his own death, 90 days in advance. If there is such a precognizant cusp, can a spirit take certain steps to make minor preparations or to pass on necessary information? By a function of this prescience or just fortunate coincidence, a small family enjoyed a brief span of harmony and reconciliation on the brink of calamity. Tariq Awi’s Iranian family had immigrated to Canada when he was ten. His primary schooling was done in Ontario and there were no other Iranian people in the community they had settled in. Short of speaking Farsi in his parent’s home, and his skin’s olive tone, he was almost as Canadian as ‘How’s it going, eh’. “Let’s unpack a few boxes,” the man flashed his strawberry blonde wife a sly wink, “in the bedroom.” His randy grin was a sneaky hint of more in his suggestion, than just crates from the relocation. Marriage to a girl from south of the Mason-Dixie Line had given Tariq the ‘Hey, y’all’ Americanization as well. “Oh, alright!” Brenda Awi’s words were spoken like Loki in an exaggerated sigh but the implied mild annoyance didn’t fool her mate, as he had spotted her coy reciprocal smirk hiding inside like a Trojan. The deception was intended for their daughter’s ear but it didn’t really hoodwink her either: the petite and blue-eyed pre-teen’s eyes twinkled like a dragon’s hoard as her parents left. The couple crept away to the master bedroom for some long precluded intimacy. With the daughter still awake in the other room, the experience felt like the two were frisky youngsters escaping from a camp councilor’s scrutiny and that hint of naughtiness gave the lovemaking a flavor of it being their honeymoon again.  Afterwards, they snuggled like pewter spoons in a picnic hamper but neither slept right away. That was slightly unusual, as men tend to slumber so well in passion’s afterglow: as opposed to it making women more alert. “I wish my job felt as right as our first time in this city just did.” Tariq opened the dialog but regretted his choice of topic before the words were finished flowing over his teeth. It had been in a moment of après sex male vulnerability when his wife had first won this argument.

It doesn’t make a lot of difference if you consume iced versions once in a while, but try and take the hot version as much as you can.

Into God's Image

Do You Have a Guardian Angel? If you’re extremely fortunate, your angel may help you out to you on a regular basis. Sometimes people might experience their angel by hearing a voice calling their name or warning them of danger, but many others simply feel guided by an inner sensation or what you might call a gut instinct, or they might get a sense of reassurance and peace upon getting angelic support. Angels don’t all operate in the same manner. They tend to adapt their methods according to the particular circumstances. Some celestial angels are more hands-on than others. Some prefer to hang back and wait to be called in or invoked. Angels usually employ subtle signs to show they are with us because manifesting fully into our dimension is difficult for them. A White Feather In your time of greatest need, your Guardian
Angel may bring a white feather as a gift to let you know
she’s there. The white feather is a classic sign that says, “I’m here for you, we are supporting you; you are not alone.” You’ll probably find your white feather where least expected
. I generally find them in my chicken coop. You might suppose that’s where MOST expected but my hens are all brown.

To Catch a Butterfly

Migration of the Monarchs The fall migration of Monarch butterflies is one of those fascinating natural mysteries to which human beings still do not have any answers. For centuries, the black and orange Monarchs have been great winter attractions in the Californian and Mexican regions. However, no one had any clue to this huge influx of Monarch butterflies in these regions. In 1937, part of this mystery was unfolded through the attempts of a researcher named F. A. Urquhart; he began putting wing tags on the butterflies in order to track their origins and whereabouts. His endeavors bore results and it was brought to light that the Monarch butterflies were original natives of the northern regions. The winged beauties soared and glided in the sunlit skies across USA from March through October. Come winter, and they would migrate to the warmer regions southwards to avoid the cold winds, returning to their summer grounds in the wake of spring. The m

The Buchart Gardens in Victoria The Butchart Gardens are located in Brentwood Bay, a village on the Saanich Peninsula that is part of the city of Greater Victoria on Vancouver Island. They are actually about 20 km south of Victoria City centre. There is ample parking on the grounds outside the Gardens and access is also possible by boat at Todd Inlet. The Butchart Gardens had an interesting genesis. It was originally a limestone quarry worked by Robert Butchart to supply cement for his pioneer work with Portland Cement. By 1904 he had abandoned one part of the quarry and his wife, Jennie, decided to beautify the exhausted site. Jennie and Robert had built themselves a new home on Todd Inlet they named "Benvenuto", now the name of the road passing in front of the Gardens. She had cartloads of topsoil hauled in from neighboring farms and started with some sweet pea seeds and a single rose bush. Eventually she committed herself to the gradual horticultural development of what is now known internationally as The Butchart Gardens. They were originally called the Sunken Gardens and today features numerous named areas, such as the Japanese Garden. Begun in 1905, the tranquil Japanese Garden is one of the oldest surviving areas

There are no lifts, no grooming, no resort, but a road goes to the summit. You need to use a 4-wheel drive vehicle to drive to the top  Basically, skiers take turns being the driver, who picks up the other skiers at the bottom of the runs and ferries them up to the summit. Conditions at the peak are variable at best with Winter temperatures ranging from 25 to 40 degrees F (-4 to 4 C).  The wind chill and the high altitude also makes it seem much colder.

Real Truth in Advertising

Truth in an Age of Untruth The Hollywood awards season has begun, illustrating once again that many people still believe that wealth, fame, and power are the only true measures of a successful life. Many people rarely stop to consider whether this belief is true, because this generation is rarely exposed to the truth. Advertising, television shows, movies, and other forms of media, fill us with a mountain of propaganda designed to enchant us with their vision of what they consider real, and what their definition of true success is. Their vision becomes for us a dream, one that haunts our minds and hearts, and soon becomes a way of life. This way of life, however, can cause harm. Many reality TV shows illustrate this fact by celebrating ignorance, conflict, sexual promiscuity, and alcoholic excess, all in the name of wealth, fame, and power. This type of behavior is what passes for truth today. Is it any wonder there is so much despair, suffering, and violence? Is it any wonder that people today are lost, like sheep without a shepherd? The Bible teaches as a man thinks in his mind, so he is. What a person believes is true determines what type of person they will become, and what sort of life they will have. What our generation accepts as truth is not simply an intellectual idea, it becomes a way of life. Unfortunately, this way of life is ultimately destructive for many reasons, not the least of which is that it is fundamentally unattainable for the vast majority of people. Why? Because it is based on an illusion, it is a Hollywood and Media creation, with very little basis in fact. Without overstating it, many in our society are coming to the conclusion that this may be true, that the packaged truth of Hollywood and the media is designed to keep us trapped in an illusion. They look for a scapegoat: is it the Illuminati, the Church, the Government, Minorities, Illegal Immigrants, Islamic Terrorism? Maybe its all of them together, who knows? Sometimes, like in the tragic Arizona shooting, certain people become so cut off from reality, that they refuse to consider reasonable arguments, and accept even more extreme forms of untruth. One evil spirit leaves and 7 worse spirits come back and take their place. And as Our Lord said so well, the state of the person is worse than it was before. However

Swim Where

Swim Where – Part 18 “It’s been four years since your swim to glory in the last Olympics.” The interviewer dolled out his droll preamble. “Do you experience any remorse that you won’t make such a big splash in these games?” “I harbor many regrets over numerous things,” Scott answered, “but a splash is not one of them.” “Yet you are participating in a fashion.” The talk show host spoke over his clenched teeth. The enigmatic swimming star had opened up substantially since his hooking up with Belinda Lyle, but he could still prove infuriating at times. “The committee has offered you a role in the opening celebrations.” “I was thrilled to accept that.” “The rumor mill has suggested that you’ve had a tattoo done. Is that true.” “Yes. I’ll confirm that. But you’ll only see it with the rest of the world when I swim the Olympic flame across the ceremonial pool.” “The organizers have also been tight lipped about your spectacular entry.” “As I stipulated when I agreed to participate.”

At least the college didn't have a square corner in 1979 when it first was built.  The Phase II some years later used an architectural firm that might have cut corners on the original corner-less design feature.  And now are you wondering how this might start to fit into the Propaganda blog where it's placed? - So am I so let's see where it goes after the 'read more'.

Solar Facts and Other Sun Fun

Solar Systems   Stars are born encircled by a swirling disk composed of gas and dust, which is called a protoplanetary accretion disk, and these whirling, gaseous rings surrounding baby stars harbor the necessary ingredients from which a family of planets form. Astronomers have observed a number of such protoplanetary accretion disks circling distant, bright, and fiery baby stars, and these disks take shape at approximately the same time that the baby star--termed a protostar--is born within its obscuring, veiling natal cloud. In May 2015, an international team of astronomers announced their discovery of a very young, distant planetary system which may help astronomers to gain an understanding of how our own Solar System was born and evolved about 4.56 billion years ago. A ring of planetary debris, surrounding the youthful parent-star inhabiting this system, reveals a haunting and remarkable resemblance to our Solar System's own Kuiper Belt that is situated beyond the outermost major planet Neptune.

A complete transformation in 4 weeks!

Weight Loss Secret Tips 1. Food substitutes Eat a healthy balanced diet composed of vitamins, proteins and carbohydrates during the day. You can substitute your dinner or supper with fruits. Any foods that you eat beyond 7 in the evening contribute directly to your body and add on the pounds. So, if you intend to pull down, have fruits that are water rich and can include melons, citrus fruits and papayas. Besides nourishing your body, these fruits also aid weight loss. You can also substitute white rice with brown rice which is known to be much healthier. Check with your GP or nutritionist for healthy food substitutes. 2. Small snacks There is some truth in feeding yourself small meals throughout the day. Having small meals like fruits or protein-rich and fiber-rich foods can do a lot of good to your body. Small meals also ensure that you do not overeat. You can easily control your portions and give your body the right amounts of nutrients, not to mention energy. Avoid skipping meals as this only interferes with your goal of weight loss. 3. Hydration There is no substitute for water! Whether you are exercising or are on a diet plan, drink lots and lots of water. At least two liters of water in a day is essential in order to flush out toxins from your body. This keeps you hydrated and also prevents you from feeling tired. Make sure you don’t consume too much water before a meal as it may fill you up and cause late night snacking! 4. Eat slowly Sometimes, you are so hard pressed for time that food is probably something you wolf down. You eat fast just enough to satiate hunger. When you eat fast, your body seldom realizes when to stop. You may end up eating a lot more than you should. Eating fast also doesn’t let you chew your food properly which is essential for good digestion. On the contrary, when you take small morsels of food slowly at a time, you taste the goodness of what you eat and also tend to eat less.

Alfred Lord Tennyson Poems

Ulysses - Poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson It little profits that an idle king, By this still hearth, among these barren crags, Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole Unequal laws unto a savage race, That hoard, and sleep, and feed, and know not me. I cannot rest from travel; I will drink Life to the lees. All times I have enjoy'd Greatly, have suffer'd greatly, both with those That loved me, and alone; on shore, and when Thro' scudding drifts the rainy Hyades Vext the dim sea. I am become a name; For always roaming with a hungry heart Much have I seen and known,-- cities of men And manners, climates, councils, governments, Myself not least, but honor'd of them all,-- And drunk delight of battle with my peers, Far on the ringing plains of windy Troy. I am a part of all th

Robert Service Poetry

Black Moran The mule-skinner was Bill Jerome, the passengers were three; Two tinhorns from the dives of Nome, and Father Tim McGee. And as for sunny Southland bound, through weary woods they sped, The solitude that ringed them round was silent as the dead. Then when the trail crooked crazily, the frost-rimed horses reared, And from behind a fallen tree a grim galoot appeared; He wore a parki white as snow, a mask as black as soot, And carelesslike weaved to and fro a gun as if to shoot.

Karma Knight – Short Story

Karma Knight – Part Three It is now five years later and Mike Schmitt is no longer a policeman.  The closest he gets to law enforcement is the volunteer work he does at the John Howard Society.  He does a lot of volunteer work these days because he doesn’t have much money to spend on going out.  He pays alimony to his ex-wife and child support to his 2 legitimate children and his two illegitimate ones as well. The Karma Knight comes occasionally to collect money but he has not been around for quite a while now. At this moment Mike is standing in his kitchen and reaching into his fridge for a beer. “Do you have another one of those?”  A familiar voice asks from behind Mike. “Sure.”  Mike turns to hand the karma knight a beer then reaches back to get another.  As Schmitt and the knight stroll to the living room to take seats, Mike asks.  “Do you ever enter a room normally by a door?  You just seem to appear suddenly.  How do you do that?” “I travel through the Akashic Records, or Astral Space, or I spirit walk, or whatever you want to call it.  Then when I’m where I want to be, I materialize my body.”

Quick Tasty Recipes

SIMPLE FIVE INGREDIENT GREEN PASTA SALAD     This pasta salad contains 5 fresh, healthy ingredients assuming that olive oil and salt don’t count.  Five is such a nice number for my bouncy grocery store mind. Favorite thing about simple recipes (hi, five ingredient green pasta salad): the higher the quality of the ingredients, the fewer ingredients you really need because the flavor of even just one ingredient is so over-the-moon-delicious. This pasta salad, which – side note – would be perfect warmed up for dinner OR eaten cold for lunch as I can assure you from experiencing both! features a few of those high quality ingredients alongside a few grocery store basics.

Walt Whitman Poetry

A child said What is the grass? fetching it to me with full hands; How could I answer the child? I do not know what it is any more than he. I guess it must be the flag of my disposition, out of hopeful green stuff woven. Or I guess it is the handkerchief of the Lord, A scented gift and remembrancer designedly dropt, Bearing the owner's name someway in the corners, that we may see and remark, and say Whose? Or I guess the grass is itself a child, the produced babe of the vegetation. Or I guess it is a uniform hieroglyphic, And it means, Sprouting alike in broad zones and narrow

Succulent Garden

Succulent plants are those which hold plenty of water.  The best example of a succulent plant is the cactus which holds sufficient water to carry it through some long drought periods.  I love succulent plants and I have some nice examples here of what people have done in their gardens with them.  I've been postinbg some of these photos on my profile lately and thought I should assemble a collection of them. Here are some clever examples.  Do you have an old fish bowl?  Your succulent plants will love it there.

Robert Browning Poetry

A Toccata Of Galuppi's - Poem by Robert Browning     Oh Galuppi, Baldassaro, this is very sad to find! I can hardly misconceive you; it would prove me deaf and blind; But although I take your meaning, 'tis with such a heavy mind! II. Here you come with all your music, and here's all the good it brings. What, they lived once thus at Venice where the merchants were the kings, Where Saint Mark's is, where the Doges used to wed the sea with rings? III. Ay, because the sea's the street there; and 'tis arched by ... what you call ... Shylock's bridge with houses on it, where they kept the carnival: I was never out of England---it's as if I saw it all. IV. Did young people take their pleasure when the sea was warm in May? Balls and masks begun at midnight, burning ever to mid-day, When they made up fresh adventures for the morrow, do you say? V. Was a lady such a lady, cheeks so round and lips so red,--- On her neck the small face buoyant, like a bell-flower on its bed, O'er the breast's superb abundance where a man might base his head? VI. Well, and

Poems by Robert Frost

An Empty Threat  I stay; But it isn't as if There wasn't always Hudson's Bay And the fur trade, A small skiff And a paddle blade. I can just see my tent pegged, And me on the floor, Cross-legged, And a trapper looking in at the door With furs to sell. His name's Joe, Alias John, And between what he doesn't know And won't tell About where Henry Hudson's gone, I can't say he's much help; But we get on. The seal yelp On an ice cake. It's not men by some mistake? No, There's not a soul For a windbreak Between me and the North Pole—

Blueberries - Poem by Robert Frost I actually like the way this fits here.  Blueberries are a Superfruit. 'You ought to have seen what I saw on my way To the village, through Mortenson's pasture to-day: Blueberries as big as the end of your thumb, Real sky-blue, and heavy, and ready to drum In the cavernous pail of the first one to come! And all ripe together, not some of them green And some of them ripe! You ought to have seen! ' 'I don't know what part of the pasture you mean.' 'You know where they cut off the woods—let me see— It was two years ago—or no! —can it be No longer than that? —and the following fall The fire ran and burned it all up but the wall.' 'Why, there hasn't been time for the bushes to grow. That's always the way with the blueberries, though: There may not have been the ghost of a sign Of them anywhere under the shade of the pine, But get the pine out of the way, you may burn The pasture all over until not a fern Or grass-blade is left, not to mention a stick, And presto, they're up all around you as thick And hard to explain as a conjuror's trick.' 'It must be on charcoal

World's Biggest Swimming Pools

World's Biggest Swimming Pool San Alfonso del Mar About 100 km to the west Santiago, Chili you can find the largest swimming pool in the world.  "San Alfonso del Mar" is actually more of a lagoon because it's so enormous. Its dimensions are impressive, the length is 1013 meters, and the area - 77 thousand square meters! In fact, this pool is larger than some lakes. The basin capacity is - 250 million liters and a maximum depth is 35 meters.  The water is taken straight from the Pacific Ocean but it's so clear that the bottom can be clearly seen. Don't be surprised either if you see a catamaran, a boat or even a yacht here because a pool this size can handle boats as well as any kind of water sports.

Aviation Ladies

Bomber Pinup Girls The era of the vintage pin up girls is generally accepted as starting from the late 1930s and lasting until the early 1960s. Representations of the female form have always been a popular form of art, from the day that prehistoric man first picked up a piece of charcoal and drew his mate on a cave wall, but it was to be many millions of years later before it became a form of commercial pop art. It can reasonably be assumed that the popularity of the pinup girl as we know her grew in line with the development of the popular media, and the movies were likely the start of it all. The famous stars were often given nicknames, such as Clara Bow (the 'It Girl'), the 'Blonde Bombshell', Jean Harlow and Lana Turner, known as 'the Sweater Girl'. Their photographs were also much prized, because cameras were not the domain of the ordinary person in the earlier parts of the 20th century. Had you lived during these early years in the development of cinematography and photography, the representations of your favorite stars would have been much sought after. You would have prized a photograph of your favorite movie star, although you would not have recognized it as being a 'pin up' because the term did not become part of the English language until 1941.

Must See in Thailand presents

Must See in Thailand presents. Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya   The Sanctuary of Truth View of the sanctuary from the upper viewpoint. Monumental projects in Thailand are almost always community-based, usually undertaken by temples. Rarely are they undertaken by a single individual, other than the king. One of the few exceptions to this rule was the eccentric billionaire generally known as "Khun Lek." First, he conceived the Ancient City as a place for Bangkok residents to see the rich architectural heritage of Thailand. He also build a huge art museum in the shape of the mythical three-headed elephant Erawan. Then he started construction on a temple-like structure near Pattaya, which he christened "the Sanctuary of Truth."

Gunga Din - Poem by Rudyard Kipling by Russ Toews

Gunga Din - Poem by Rudyard Kipling   You may talk o' gin and beer When you're quartered safe out 'ere, An' you're sent to penny-fights an' Aldershot it; But when it comes to slaughter You will do your work on water, An' you'll lick the bloomin' boots of 'im that's got it. Now in Injia's sunny clime, Where I used to spend my time A-servin' of 'Er Majesty the Queen, Of all them blackfaced crew The finest man I knew Was our regimental bhisti, Gunga Din. He was "Din! Din! Din! You limpin' lump o' brick-dust, Gunga Din! Hi! slippery ~hitherao~! Water, get it! ~Panee lao~! [Bring water swiftly.] You squidgy-nosed old idol, Gunga Din." Ethnic Female Heritage

Females of Slavic Heritage       There are reportedly over 400 web sites on the internet introducing women from Ukraine for love and relationship. This statistic is an obvious indicator of the popularity of Ukrainian women to western men. Americans and Europeans are seeking relationships with Ukrainian women because they perceive them as ideal companions. Are their preconceived notions truth or fantasy? As a frequent traveler to Lviv, Ukraine I would like to include my personal opinions on this very hot topic.   Foremost and above all, men claim that the women of Ukraine the most beautiful and the most attractive. Just recently US Vice President Joe Biden declared in Kiev " Ukrainian women are the most beautiful women in the world". This view is supported by a rather macho mentality which places physical beauty above all other human traits. Can a relationship be based on physical appearance alone!

The Feast Of Famine

To Rosabelle   WHEN my young lady has grown great and staid, And in long raiment wondrously arrayed, She may take pleasure with a smile to know How she delighted men-folk long ago. For her long after, then, this tale I tell Of the two fans and fairy Rosabelle. Hot was the day; her weary sire and I Sat in our chairs companionably nigh, Each with a headache sat her sire and I. Instant the hostess waked: she viewed the scene, Divined the giants' languor by their mien, And with hospitable care Tackled at once an Atlantean chair. Her pigmy stature scarce attained the seat - She dragged it where she would, and with her feet
