Communication coaching

The Coach
The designer and chief coach of Powertalk, Robert Burnside, is a professional speaker and storyteller; he is experienced in international business, energetic, engaging and dedicated to teaching; and he models everything that he teaches. He is a thought leader in engagement and influence.
He tells relevant stories to inspire interest, convince, and imprint on the memory. He uses real-time exercises, pointed feedback, and role-playing to ensure engagement, understanding, physical learning, retention and ongoing motivation. He is both the guide-on-the-side and the sage-on-the-stage, and understands the need for each.
He draws on examples, evidence and his own insights from classical Greek and Chinese philosophy, through centuries of business and political history, to leading-edge neuroscience and leadership teaching. He simplifies a complex tangle of theory on human interaction into simple approaches that are easily understood and followed, and includes practical, step-by-step techniques to deal with even the most difficult situations.
